In the summer months, bustling craft and farmer’s markets pop up and sell local produce direct from the makers.

With a stunning coastline, award-winning beaches, a wealth of visitor attractions , the English Riviera has all the ingredients for a fabulous visit, any time of year.

Torquay

Torquay is a traditional yet thriving seaside town set on Devon's English Riviera

The town is famous for its beaches, which provide some of the best sea swimming, paddling and kayaking in England.

The horseshoe shaped Bay is perfect for watersports – from global sailing competitions, to splashing about in the sea, and you will find the water warm, safe and shallow.

But that’s not all Torquay has to offer.

You can also expect iconic palm trees, a busy harbour, an international marina, sandy beaches and a wonderful array of continental style cafes, restaurants and cocktail bars: so the scene is set for the perfect visit to Devon!

Paignton

As you arrive in the traditional seaside resort of Paignton, you are met with the welcoming sight of its long stretch of beautiful and easily accessible beachfront, promenade, traditional pier, colourful beach huts and green.

You’re spoilt for choice for long sandy beaches and safe shallow waters, which are the perfect place for a dip or to try out paddleboarding.
